The Fed has reduced interest rates by 50 basis points, the first rate reduction in 4 years. More cuts are on the horizon - the next meeting is November 6 and we're expecting another 25-50 point reduction. I'm advising my clients that now isn't the time to increase the price on their listings. That won't be feasible until we get down into the 3.5-3.75% range. I'm looking forward to seeing the rate environment in July of 2025, when I predict it will be much more favorable.
